Brand Identity Design for a clothing company, TSUKKOMI CLOTHING.
The idea for this design was stemmed specifically from Japanese comedy. Tsukkomi, loosely translated “straight man,” is one half of a particular style of traditional Japanese stand-up comedy called Manzai; the other half being Boke or “funny man.”
A Tsukkomi, generally considered to be the more smarter, and reasonable one of the unit is often seen criticizing Boke for his or her mistakes and exaggerations; thus bringing me to design this logo.
